Ceredigion County Council proposes to install new traffic calming measures mainly on the B4337 in Llanrhystud in this Financial Year 2025-26, as part of a Safe Routes in Communities Scheme, which is a grant (of £150,000) funded by the Welsh Government and also partly funded by Ceredigion County Council.

The proposed traffic calming features are shown in the draft plans below – several of these measures are Raised Table Crossings which also aid active travel connectivity for pedestrians and mobility user. These proposals are on the grounds of improving road safety, noting that the B4337 doesn’t have continuous footway provision for pedestrians and mobility users. They are also supported by the Local Member, to help create improved active travel connectivity in the village centre and near the Primary School.

We welcome any feedback you may have on the proposals, via the contact page.
